Theme:   While seeing the twinkling of semiconductor industry from a most gloomy economic recession, some have already suffered more severely than others. To survive and strive, semiconductor industry must keep looking for promising growth opportunities. What is the likely landscape for the upcoming semiconductor industry after the recovery? More importantly, what could be the implication to our job market? In this Symposium, we have invited experts, executives, and venture capitalist to share their insightful views on the “middle-aged” Moore’s Law and to jointly explore high growth driver products as derived from semiconductor technologies but not necessarily be pursuant to Moore’s Law.
