We are experiencing by far the most severe economic recession in our professional life. Every corner of the world is swept by this financial storm and none is immune of its impacts. Overwhelmed by the mounting bad news each day, it looks like the whole semiconductor industry is collapsing and vaporized that we can hardly stand still, let along searching for new opportunities.
CASPA and GSA have joined forces to organize this symposium with one purpose, to rejuvenate our semiconductor professional community. Please join us to take a breath and refresh our mind. To understand the dimming opportunities for semiconductor professionals in current economy, we examine in retrospect the semiconductor history from both market and technology perspectives. Most importantly, we want to explore the future of semiconductor industry. It will definitely re-surge, but maybe in a different way, and we need to prepare ourselves to adapt to it. In this symposium, we have invited experts, executives, and economics analyst specializing in semiconductor market and technology to share their views and experiences with us. Together we shall find the twinkling of the semiconductor industry in the foreseeing future.
