Company manufactures hundreds of kinds of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs). REQUIREMENTS: * Engineering degree. BSEE desirable. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Project responsibility: * Manage the type-1 activity in Asia for the Signal Processing and Converter BU. * Understand how Client products are used. what are the key requirements? do we offer the ideal solution? how are these requirements going to change in the future? what are the drivers for the change? are we positioned adequately to win when the next generation design change happens? 2. Business Plans: Support and help BU to generate LRPs (Long Range Plans). This includes * Market validation (TOP5 to TOP10 customers in the different market segments) * Customer contact (build relationships with key people/decision makers at different customers and meet them on a regular basis) 3. Product proposals/validation * Teach the FAE’s what BU is focusing on and submit relevant proposals for Quarterly New Product meetings. * Encourage field applications engineers in Asia to generate high-quality product proposals. 4. Quarterly New Product reviews * Pre-evaluate Asia product proposals and discuss with FAE’s/customers * Attend and contribute to quarterly meetings 5. FAE and AM support/training * Train AM’s and FAE’s in Asia on new and existing products and marketing strategies to win all possible sockets. * Focus the AM’s and FAE’s in the same direction with BU. 6. Quote and Pricing responsibility * Support BU with quote follow-up (local sales, apps, inside sales and customers) * Get involved in strategic price/socket negotiations if needed 7. Market Research: * Identify new emerging markets and identify new emerging customer in that markets * Work together with Sales organization to bring these customer Schedule A in time 8.
