The Company owns and operates one of the largest open semiconductor foundries in China, focusing on providing manufacturing services to IC design houses for consumer electronics, communication, and computers. The Company provides manufacturing services for international IDMs, utilizing their own manufacturing capacities for their proprietary process technologies. Manufacturing processes include CMOS logic, mixed-signal, high voltage, non-volatile memory, and electrically erasable programmable read-only memory ICs and DMOS.
The Company will now start a new 8-inch wafer Fab. This Fab will focus on 8-inch process technologies ranging from 0.35 micron to 0.18 micron.
The Title: Consultant - BCD
Position Location: China
Reporting Structure: Head of Technical Development
THE POSITION:
The Consultant, BCD will report to the Head of Technology Development, and will have direct responsibility for applying BCDMOS technology to the 8-inch wafer Fab operation of The Company. This position will be a key member of the Fab technical unit team, and a participant in the planning, start-up, and the performance standards of the manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be appointed on a contract term of two years, to lead a team to develop and setup BCDMOS on The Company’s Fab facility. He/She will lead the Fab Integration Department to improve and develop BCD technology continuously to attain stable mass-production.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 15+ years of experience within the semiconductor field with at least 7 years on BCDMOS technology;
- Experience in starting up a new 8-inch foundry is most advantageous;
- Able to establish BCDMOS process characterization and qualification methodology;
- Strong knowledge of BCDMOS physics and process integration;
- Significant contributions as Research Engineer / Scientist, Application Engineer / Practitioner, Technical Leader;
- Able to demonstrate project management leadership to team members based on The Company’s standard APQP flow;
- Evidence of technical accomplishments;
- Keen ability and demonstrated track record of successful project / program management;
- Able to work with and drive cross functional teams in both direct supervisory and matrixed models;
- Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Excellent presentation skills to senior management and engineering team, etc.;
- Ability to manage by influence across all levels of the organization;
- Able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure;
- Ability to understand and be able to communicate processes and procedures, regulations and compliance requirements.
EDUCATION AND LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Master’s degree in Materials Science/Chemical Engineering/Electronic and Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline. An advanced degree, Ph.D. preferred.

The Director/Deputy Director, DMOS will report to the Head of Technology Development and will be responsible for establishing the applications of new technologies and devices, pursuant to The Company’s quality standards.
The main areas of responsibilities will include:
- Provide effective leadership in DMOS Process Development Department on DMOS process development;
- Help the Fab Integration Department to improve and develop DMOS process to attain stable mass production;
- Help to transfer DMOS process from Fab to Fab internally;
- Communicate with customers, understand and fulfill customers?requests on DMOS technology;
- Train young engineers on DMOS process development;
- Work with Reliability Department to establish DMOS qualification methodology.

THE POSITION:
The Director, Quality Reliability Assurance will report to the Vice President of Quality Reliability Assurance for the new Fab operation. The successful candidate will require excellent understanding of quality reliability systems and quality assurance techniques, and will have managed the quality control function in a large-scale semiconductor plant/operation. He/She will be responsible for communication and interaction with international Integrated Device Manufacturers for quality issues and discussions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of professional experience within quality reliability management functions in semiconductor field or in a related capacity;
- Strong knowledge of quality reliability systems and significant quality assurance techniques;
- Proven experience in leading quality review audits of standard operating procedures, as well as providing specific training and education programs regarding quality assurance and regulatory compliance;
- A track record of semiconductor design as SQE, using FA and/or RA;
- Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Excellent presentation skills to senior management and business partners, etc.;
- Ability to manage by influence across all levels of the organization;
- Able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure;
- Ability to understand and be able to communicate processes and procedures, regulations and compliance requirements;
